Very economical to run, surprising turn of speed and extremely comfortable, responsive and relaxing to drive. Absolutely love it and surprisingly better handling than my previous BMW X3. Lots of tech, luxury items and safety stuff comes as standard.

Get 50 miles EV range in summer and 42 in winter.

Mpg averaging 50 mpg in HV (hybrid – when EV charge depleted).

    Very reliable.

    Best car I’ve owned

Bought the car from new at Johnson’s Toyota Liverpool, so far so good . It feels sturdy strong and powerful, it is a hybrid (self charging) so I try to drive very slowly around my local roads to use the battery power and it’s amazing when you refuel how much you get mpg, the first fill was 61 mpg, second was a week in the ‘lakes so a bit of every kind of driving at 53mpg and a trip to Anglesey at 54mpg so a very happy bunny so far. If you put it in sport mode it flies but at the same time grips the road like glue! I hope I don’t have an issue with it but if I do then that’s a true reflection on the quality of the product on how the dealer performs

I bough the car in July 2020. It is my third Toyota, the other two being Avensis variants. Like the other two, this is totally reliable so far, and unlike some motoring correspondents, I did not find the CVT took some getting used to. On the contrary, it’s beautifully smooth. I need a large vehicle for carrying equipment around, and apart from the space taken by the hybrid battery, it’s still roomy.
