    Bought this car as we loved the spec,colour and engine 1.2 puretech turbo 110 is a great little engine plenty of torque And cruises nicely along on the motorway with little effort for a small car…
    Problems we have had are with suspension components,such as drop links,springs breaking,strut top bearings and bottom ball joints.these seem to fail quite frequently…
    The most disturbing of all faults was we got a STOP! Low oil pressure warning come up,after getting towed home,began some research on this only to discover it’s a common problem,which now has a recall on it,the timing belt degrades premetually and with it being a wet belt the bits of rubber if the belt have been blocking oil pick up pipe in the sump also the brake vacuum pump too! We got InTouch with local Citroen dealer to do work! Who now have had the car 3 weeks! And still not done anything,we managed last Friday to finally get a courtesy car and many visits, they still can not tell us what they are going to do,I think at very minimum it should be engine flush,oil and filter change and definitely timing belt! The car has only done 40k now where near the recommended timing belt change schedule..All In all not happy as citreon have admitted to this fault,shame as we both love the looks,styling and how the DS3 drives
